History

Precision Hydraulics Ltd was founded in September 1998 by Ken Mosher. Inspecting and servicing lifts while performing hydraulic jack, pump, cylinder and pneumatic tool repairs to local automotive shops in the Halifax Regional Municipality. In 2001 Precision Hydraulics Ltd obtained certificate of  recognition by the Nova Scotia Construction Safety Association. This gave the company ability to bid on Municipal, Provincial and Federal contracts in the Automotive lift Industry. Still to this day we hold most of the major contracts for HRM & DND in our field. We are the service contractor through ADG Forward for all Wal-Mart's in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island

Currently Precision Hydraulics Ltd is a authorized warranty / service centre for over 15 major manufactures of automotive lifting equipment.
Our employees are factory trained by five major automotive lift manufacturers and wholesalers. Our ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems on any piece of automotive equipment exceeds most technicians in our area.

Our goal is to keep technicians safe and informed about the dangerous task of lifting vehicles. Providing our expertise and consulting with owners of automotive shops to abide by the current safety standards and practices. Ken personally trained inspectors with the N.S. dept of labour on the operation and safety devices of automotive lifts. Precision Hydraulics Ltd has 2 million Liability insurance and has been in good standing with the N.S. Workers Compensation Board since we opened our doors in 1998. To which we have never entered a claim.
